Welcome to the North Dakota Rural Emergency Medical Services Improvement Project website! Please return often for information about this important project benefiting North Dakota EMS.
The North Dakota Rural EMS Improvement Project was made possible by action of the North Dakota legislature and is a one-time competitively funded grant from the state’s insurance premium tax distribution fund. The grant is administered by the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) Division of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma (DEMST) and has been awarded to SafeTech Solutions, LLP, a national EMS consulting firm with extensive experience in assessing and developing rural EMS systems.
This web site has been created by SafeTech Solutions to keep members of the North Dakota EMS community and all interested parties up to date on project activity and progress and provide a site for conducting project activities.
This project will include a number of opportunities for participation. Currently the project team is contacting ambulance service directors/managers throughout the state to get their input on needs, wants and challenges. If you receive a call or an email please respond. The team needs to hear your candid assessment of EMS in your area and the state.
To contact the improvement project team by phone call toll free (866) 448-1834 or fax (208) 575-2783 or submit your request on the Contact page.
